Shin Splints (Anterior/Posterior)
Inflammation of the tissues on the shinbones (tibia).
Causes
- Over use or excessive training
- Abnormal gait in runners
Symptoms
- Noticeable pain when exercise starts which decreases as exercise continues frequently
- Pain is often worse after exercise. Discomfort may occur the following morning.
Treatments
